So what are we? Are we a bakery for kitties? Do we make people food? These are just a few of the questions that we get asked. Here are our answers.

So why the name Kittyhugs?
Well, because as weird as it sounds, our owner has a cat that gives…hugs. I know it sounds absolutely fantastic, but it is true. I have seen it myself. So when the owner wanted to open up a bakery, well, why not? Better than being called the Screamin' Beeman Bakery. (No kidding, that was the other name idea).

Okay, so you don't make kitty treats. What do you make?
Anything and everything that takes our fancy. We are a full-service bakery capable of doing just about everything, from the really, really small and intricate, to absolutely huge batches of cookies, muffins, scones, anything.

How come I've never heard of or seen you before?
We are a small bakery that opened in summer 2004. Since then, we've been steadily growing. In summer 2005, we opened up our retail section of the business to the public on Fridays and Saturdays.

Way cool. So how do I order from you?
By phone, in person, or on the internet. We make everything from scratch, from the time of ordering. This means that we don'’t just have items on hand that you can walk in and pick up (Well, except for Fridays and Saturdays when we try to have lots of items for sale). So if you wish to order, you need to let us know at least 72 hours in advance, and we'll have it ready for you.
